Special Economic Zone-Bostan:

Bostan is situated in district Pishin and is about 35-40 Kilometers away from Provincial capital Quetta at National Highway, Leading towards Afghanistan. Bostan has been declared as Special Economic Zone. Bostan Industrial Estate is spread over 1000 acres. At present day, industry is replacing agriculture due to certain reasons, including scanty underground water table. Besides CPEC is game changer in the province and ultimately industrial atmosphere affects the urban areas, therefore, it is an opportunity for the provincial Government to consider ideal locations for promoting industrial process in the province. Pishin an ideal location where successful industrial Zone will be established where small & large scale industrial units like Marble processing, Chromite processing units mineral based industries, PVC Pipe factory, PCC Pole factory, cold storage, fruit packing and grading units, garments factory, warehouses, Halal Food Industry and many other units can be established.
